Welcome to Effie Morris STEAM Academy! I’m Robbin Church, and I’m honored to serve as the principal of our newly combined campus, bringing together Effie Morris Early Learning Academy and Effie Morris STEAM Academy. With our unifying theme Better Together, we are excited to begin a year focused on collaboration, growth, and success for every student.

I am beginning my 38th year in education and my 16th year in Lake Worth ISD. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade—as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. Each role has deepened my passion for education and strengthened my commitment to student achievement.

One of my strongest commitments is ensuring that every child becomes a confident reader on grade level. I believe literacy unlocks opportunities and lays the foundation for lifelong success. I am equally committed to making sure every student has strong, positive relationships with the adults on campus. Relationships are the heart of learning, and our team is here to support, inspire, and connect with each and every child.

As both an educator and a parent of two grown children, I know how important it is to build strong partnerships between school and home. I truly enjoy every aspect of supporting students, teachers, and families. For me, every challenge is an opportunity to serve and a chance to make a meaningful impact in the Lake Worth community.

I’m thrilled to lead our incredible staff and partner with families as we create a joyful and enriching learning environment where all students thrive. Here’s to an amazing school year—we truly are Better Together!
